Kappelshamns Camping

  • The small fishing port situated at 9 km north of the camping
    ”Klapperstenstranden” is a beach of special stones located on the east side of the bay of Kappelshamn
  • “Fågeltornet” Träskmyr is a viewpoint to bird observation. It’s a wetland (mire) that is the largest in Northern Europe in its specific category.
  • The small sand beach is situated 1 km to the north of the camping
  • Snäckers ”Örtagård” is a garden with plants and fines herbs
  • You should also visit “Flenvike Brunn” (the Flenvike water well) located 2 km from Snäckersvägen, with delicious and refreshing potable water
  • ”Hångers Källa” is a source of water 8 km from the camping, close to the village of Lärbro, where Isak Kolmodin composed the famous Swedish psalm “Den Blomstertid Nu Kommer”
  • “Bläse kalkbruksmuseum” is a limestone production museum situated at 13 km from the camping of Snäckersvallen.
